Mrs. Clara Williams Essex, a former resident of Crawfordsville, died Tuesday in San Antonio, Tex. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Williams of Crawfordsville. In 1917 she married Jesse Essex. He was a former employee of the Dupont Co. of Wilmington, Del. Survivors are a daughter, Louise of San Antonio, and a sister, Ada Williams of 106 E. Brandon Drive. She was preceded in death by her husband. Services will be Thursday morning in San Antonio. - jlr
